giant records 10th release is from new york born adam collins and limited to 150 hand stamped and numbered copies. adam is widely known for his work as one half of production duo omni am, along with marky star and counts derrick carter and evil eddie richards and a whole host of others, amongst their fans. adam’s release for giant is titled - day2day and has all the trademark’s of adam’s wonky, left of field, slightly off kilter grooves - day2day builds and snakes itself into a bottom bass heavy house jam - chicago style keys mould the snare and hats into an infectious work out - with an alien like hook that keeps it all slightly wobbly. the next cut is from the super talented carl finlow under carl’s random factor guise, a beauty in its own right ! super tight drums and a punchy random factor bassline take’s this mix on a journey through many shades of electronica - as the track swells nicely with warm atmospheric pads and sprinkles of emotive keys, with an electro style hook that keep’s it all swinging in carl’s trademark sound. the next mix is from la based producer mieka du franx. mieka’s mix strips the original down to the bare essentials and gives it a tuff minimal feel. the last mix is from echo of glory, which see’s echo take the track on a acid tinged work out - adding dubbed out vocals and super subbed out bass.

office recordings continues to surprise us. after baaz s techno-/ambient-hybrid on office 011 the label from berlin comes up with a stunning new and anonymous project called * one day* featuring four also unnamed tracks. the a-side of the record starts off with a with a superb deep techno track which tempts us with very emotional pads and a strong kick and bass fundament û an irresistible combination. a2 goes in the same direction but feels like the slightly mellower and softer brother of its predecessor û a little bit moody but still straightforward at the same time. the flip side is dedicated to two freestyle electronic tracks standing in the tradition of the best warp offerings from their heyday in the 90s. weÆre talking charming melodies and sparse but elaborate rhythmic patterns. the record comes in a hand stamped and with a lovely artwork also hand made by office art director super quiet. all tracks have been mastered and cut by sound engineering proficient pole at scape mastering.

austin ato is the latest project from colin bailey, the multi talented producer from oban in scotland who has been the man behind the drums of death moniker since 2008, and has also recorded under the frankie dreams and coba aliases. with forthcoming material also due on phonica white, ato lands on futureboogie with the massive feel good vibes of music will save the day, backed with two superb remixes from auntie flo and christophe. featured here are two original mixes of music will save the day. the dub mix the is classic house music jam, packed full of energizing musical flourishes, from the balearic tinges of the sequenced mallet riff, whimsical pads and booming bassline to the searing crowd chant and the joyous piano motif. ato displays some serious musical chops here, which are further enhanced on the vocal mix with the addition of a bi-lingual vocal hook that will surely act as a call to arms on any discerning dancefloor. on the auntie flos hidden garden remix, the huntleys & palmers mainstay strips things right back for a beatless excursion, letting the percussive elements drive the forward motion whilst the melodies and thick synth pads wash over like crashing waves, a great reinterpretation by brian dsouza aka auntie flo. futureboogies very own christophe provides the second remix, tweaking an acid riff over a heavy, old school drumbeat and teasing in the musical elements, providing a tougher and more jackin take on the original mix, whilst keeping faithful to the original vibe.

the days are longer and lighter already and that can only mean one thing. summer is on its way… lee burridge and lost desert return with sunshine days in mind on their ‘loopyness’ ep. an apt description indeed for the title track. its infectious groove rolls forward, making you want to get up and wiggle your hips, this track has funk. a live guitar lifts the track halfway through, as stuttered vocals and string-like synth lines take you away to other worlds. over on the other side of the vinyl (or track two for digital fans) is ‘botanic’. another summer daze, groovy, light and airy with a slinky fat bassline and a warm breakdown. music to close your eyes and drift away to, this track has been a firm favourite on all day i dream dance floors since last summer. the ep comes to a close with ‘12cc’ featuring junior. a dubbier groove underpins the whole affair while glass-like melodies and laid back synths sway back and forth. it’s a patient groover that rewards those who take the ride.

kreattones third release is here, and we are extremely proud and thrilled to present “day tripper” from the outrageously talented jesse bru. this four-track ep is a lesson on sampling, cutting and building, an aspect already acclaimed and recognized by all that had the chance to hear jesse s work (released on heart to heart, egoplanet, etc…). the opening track shares the ep title and clearly demonstrates mr. bru’s vision on deep-house, with elements coming and going, breaks and drops, all working in perfect harmony. “i want u” is a groundbreaking piece of art, filled with melancholy, heart-driven feelings and shivering whispers, resulting in a gorgeous love song. the first track on the b side, “they told me” is a uplifting tune, with clinic-cut sampling, powerful vocals and beautiful percussion. last but not least “remember how it used to be”, a groovy arrangement of pads and vocals topped with a killer bass, ideal for club use. considering that this one blew our scale, we hope you enjoy this record as much as we do.

life is an important track for me. i m obsessed with the past, with history and the way we apprehend life through the ages. i tried to express this deep feeling into music. so this track is about someone or something growing up. its really as intense and emotional as life can be. here today, gone tomorrow!

theres a certain ancient mystery to the melodies and feeling of purple hills. gentle, secret, ethereal moods that float invisibly in the spaces its played in. echoes of a familiar dream reverberate behind closed eyes that always remain slightly out of your grasp. chriss vogt’s trip takes you away to that place. a place though that only he knew existed.. until now. yokoo continues to create his own unique vibe. he expressed his love for the track when all day i dream visited morocco. with its groovier approach, it slowly creeps into the consciousness. a crisp drum groove and just a hint at the original’s dominant melodies create a understated new version slightly left of centre. chriss teams up with patrick jeremic for pour eternel. its always summer somewhere and it s dreamy essence charms the listener here. classy house music to take us through winter in the northern hemisphere.

ive always loved the sound of the italian word amarone (ah-mah-roh-nay). in my native spanish, amar means to love, so for me the word recalls that beautiful invitation: to love oneself. each track on this ep leads you through a different emotional landscape an unfiltered experience of feeling, an encounter with the heart.
